On a more personal note

I was born into this world with a purpose, and I knew it;   it just took a few years to gain the clarity I needed for me to really embrace it.

Growing up I had a natural affinity for the “magic” that surrounds us and lives within us. It was clear to me that we lived in basically two separate realms, our waking state and the dream realm.  I loved both worlds; however, as a lucid dreamer, I loved sleeping and dreaming more. It’s funny how when we are young, the unseen is so clearly seen.

This unseen world is the place where the magic happens. It is in the nooks and crannies of the immaterial world, in the spaces between, where the unseen is seen.

I spent my life trying to make sense of that and learning how to incorporate those states of being into a unified existence. I had a love for the ethereal realms, the cosmos, the workings of the human body and the natural world and how we played a part in that.   I was inspired by people like Leonardo Da Vinci, Edgar Cayce, Lewis Carrol, author of my favorite book, Alice in Wonderland; Dr. John Lilly, who shared in my love and admiration of dolphins, and the exploration into human consciousness; and Bruce Lee, one of the great martial artists,  who embraced spirituality and its manifestations through the human body.

They observed the natural world through the eyes of an artist, scientist, philosopher, healer, and teacher and paved the way for my exploration of knowledge filled with a diversity of creative passions.

I love animals; all kinds of animals.  One of the reasons I became a veterinarian was because I wanted to be able to help any animal in their time of need.  Although I have worked with a wide variety of species, my main focus, as of today is dogs and cats, and smaller exotic pets. We cohabitate with these creatures and we love them. The heartfelt bonds that are formed are mutually beneficial and affects us on a much deeper level.

I grew up with a fascination for the inner workings of the brain and the heart.  At the age of three, I wanted to be a brain surgeon; and my passion for neurology grew well into my college years.  It wasn’t until veterinary school that my love for cardiology and the studies of the heart revealed itself.    At the time, I did not realize that my passion for both was really the passion for one. The singularity of the heart- brain relationship is energetic and quantum at its core, and is the basis of our “oneness” connecting our   mind, body, and spirit.

Throughout my life there have been many others that have inspired me to strive to become the best version of myself that I can be.  So, as the Hookah-Smoking  Caterpillar asks  Who Are You? …..  I reply….  I am an artist, a scientist, a musician, a healer, a teacher, a poet, an author, a culinary aficionado, a mother, a wife and a dreamer; ….   and a three dimensional, gravitationally organized construct of a multi- dimensional quantum being.
