Working as a veterinarian in private practice, emergency, critical care, and integrative holistic medicine has given me a unique perspective of the health challenges that animals and humans face.

The need to bridge the gap between the body, mind and spirit is an integral and important part in the healing and maintenance of health and well-being.

I have spent countless hours triaging and treating pets in a crisis and counseling the owners that accompany them. The healing process on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level is multi-factorial and each domain requires and deserves special attention.

As a certified trainer from the Institute of HeartMath, I teach and facilitate tools and techniques for humans to create an internal physiologic state of coherence which facilitates a state of optimal wellness; individually, socially and globally

Practice emergency and critical care medicine and surgery in small animals within a multi-doctor specialty hospital overseeing interns and residents.

Provide various lecture series and mentoring to staff, interns and residents pertaining to mechanisms of disease, condition diagnosis, treatment options and education for animal owners to aid in the decisions concerning care.

Head of the Holistic department. Implement teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the form of Acupuncture, medicinal botany, and various healing modalities in small animals while providing teaching and learning opportunities for externs, interns and staff veterinarians.
